Isaac got a little wrapped up in the Christmas lights. He was ok with it though.
Then Lexy tried. Yep, she was tangled too. Here is her frustrated look...Before it was all done they were both covered in lights.
By the time we were ready for bed on Christmas Eve Lexy had written a letter for Santa and borrowed a dollar from Isaac to leave with it. (Sorry I couldn't get this to rotate right, so I gave up.)
The letter says:
Dear Santa,
Here is a dollar for all the joy and cheer you give to all the boys and girls. Please enjoy your hard tack, cookies and milk.
Sincerely,
Lexy
PS Here is a pencil to write back.
You'll have to ask her about the reply.
Isaac was super excited about the DragonBall Z game that Lexy gave him.
Lexy opened new skates and was ecstatic...!!!In the made at home gifts category, Isaac got a shadow box full of pucks for each goal that he has scored this year. There is room in there for more. Go Isaac...!!!
Lexy got a shadow box with her skating medals all displayed for viewing.
Now the best for last. Isaac spent a bunch of his own money to make sure he got me something that was special. Both kids, as well as the people that knew, couldn't hardly wait for me to open it. C.Payne said that she loved shopping with Isaac because he was so thoughtful. So, on Christmas morning neither kid would open a single present or look at their stocking until I had opened this present. Isaac bought me a MICROWAVE..!!! That little stinker. How cool is that. We haven't had one since we moved in October. Not that big of deal to me, but boy we have used it since he gave it to me. It's a nice stainless steel model. THANK YOU so much Isaac..!!!Lexy got me some sweet new PJ pants to lounge in and some Snickers bars. Both kids opened presents from each other before that got into the Santa stuff too. I think they both are understanding the joy of giving.
I hope you all had good Christmas' too...!!
