Catch up... Pre-Christmas

I am such a slack blogger...  Just haven't have the heart to do it that last little bit...

Some of you know already but, this was my favorite wrapping paper this year...

 I ordered so much from Amazon.com .  And most of it I had delivered direct.  It worked so well, I was able to get the things that I wanted without braving the stores, AND shipping was much cheaper through that businesses than it would have be on my own.  I so strongly recommend it to anyone in the future.

We held our tradition of having the Missionaries over the help with Christmas treats.  These pictures are from one of the cookie decorating nights.  This is Elder Maxwell, watch for him it future posts...!

The kids each got a gift from Grandpa for their Christmas travels.  New books.

Music Stores in Columbus

We drove to Columbus after Isaac's Athens hockey games to take Grandpa to the airport.  Any chance we get in Columbus we stop by Isaac's favorite violin shop, The Loft.  That place is super cool...!!!

Here is he is in one of the violin rooms playing some of their wares.  The glass case behind him houses the violins worth more than $10,000.

We also stopped my a Guitar Center store in Columbus.  Yes, there were like thousands of guitars, but I took a picture of Lexy sitting in the keyboard room playing Christmas songs.  Big smiles from this Dad...!!

Christmas 2012 Piano Recital

With only two recitals a year it's not very often that I get to share the kids playing piano.  I have to admit that we don't get the practice that I would like in.  But they did great at the recital.

Here are Lexy and Isaac with Ms Maggie their piano teacher.

So my buddy Matt loaned me is Bad A scanner to scan some old pics.  Wow...!!  I am super happy with how they turned out.

Honeybee's Indoor Soccer

I finally remembered to have Isaac take some pictures of Lexy playing soccer. I get too wrapped up in trying to coach that I never take pictures of her playing. So, here it is in Isaac's perspective.

There I am leaning in through the netting to try to direct the girls.  That is little Megan next to me...

 She got some goalie time. I plan on playing her there more, she did great..!! 

I'm sure glad that we have some pictures of Lexy playing soccer now...

Isaac and I ran another 5k. This one is part of a series of runs. Should be fun.

Here we are at the start, in the rain... I was getting impatient with them announcer who kept telling stories on a crappy PA system, "whaa, wa whaa, wa wa whaa."
