Fruity

Amy has been hooking me up with fresh fruit chopped up and in single serving dishes for me to eat on the way to work. It is soooo nice to have a healthy breakfast. I love it. So, tonight she was choppin' fruit and got a little silly with the watermelon. I call this our End of Summer Jack-o-Lantern.

Delish...
The kids giggled themselves to sleep.

First Day of School 2009

The kids are off to school today. They both did great getting up, I think that getting to bed early helped a ton. They got dressed up in some new cloths and new shoes, and I rushed them to the bus. For those of you who have not heard me whine about the bus and school time... The kids get on the bus at 6:30am and class starts at 7:05am. Pretty early for little ones. Isaac is headed to 3rd grade and Lexy is our new little 1st grader. :)
Here are a few pictures of this morning festivities, didn't get much, we were all rushed.

Lexy zoning out on cartoons while Amy touched up her hair.

Movie Hut

Lexy does sooo good at helping Amy get her studying done. Lexy takes pretty good care of herself. Yesterday, Amy was hittin' the books hard, Isaac was playing the Wii and Lexy built herself a "Movie Hut" to watch a movie in. Now, I wasn't there but I would bet that there was either a Princess movie or a Barbie movie playing when this picture was taken.

Nice hut Lexy...!

Update in the Garage

Sooo... Here is an update to the Workin' in the Garage post from the other day. The shelves that Isaac and I built, loaded. It makes me feel soooo much better when I walk through the garage to see it all stacked up in an orderly fashion.
I still think I will be building another one of these with a work bench in it. More totes, boxes and stuff.

Three Holeshots and...

We had another great day at the races. Isaac and I went to the track while Momma stayed home to study and Lexy stayed home to take care of Momma.

Some of the kids that Isaac has been racing hard with this summer were not there. But there were some fast kids that Isaac has not raced before. He did pretty well and held his own. He got three Holeshots ($15 for him, (3) @ $5 ea.). He took 1st in the 50cc 7-8. He took 2nd in the 50cc Open. And a 5th in the 65cc 7-9, he rode great on the 65cc. He is getting more comfortable and faster on that bigger bike. It was nice to be home by 12am this time. They were running thought the races quick. Nice.

Here are some sweet pics..

Ninja Isaac and the hardware @ 12am. He has been choosing Tee Shirts for his Second and Third place finishes. This one is 1st place...!
This is "The Big Table Top". Isaac likes this jump. Notice the butt wiggle.

Charging the corner.

Gettin' after.

This is another jump he loves. Coming out of "The Evil Corner".
Look at that air..!

Workin' in the garage...

Isaac and I got some working done it the garage on Saturday. We built some shelves to go over the deep freeze. These are tall enough to still open our big chest deep freeze. We measured just right to make sure we can fix our many totes on the shelf and on the top. It worked out so well, I think we will build another one with a work bench on it.

Isaac is a great helper when we do projects like this (and I give him enough to keep him busy for a while). When he wanted to take a break I told him we could. So, we took a break from the shelves and changed the oil in my truck. He LOVES to change the oil. I broke loose the drain plug and filter, he did the rest. He put them back in and I snugged them up. He loves it.
