Night on the Town

Lexy got to have a sleep over with her friend Averi the other night, that gave Isaac and I the chance to have a night on the town.  He practiced soccer until 8pm, jumped in the car, change clothes on the way and we went to the Queen tribute show at the Clay Center.  WOW...!  What a great time. Isaac loved it. He's like me, any live music is good.

The show was a collaboration between a Queen cover band, the West Virginia Symphony, and the West Virginia State University Choir.  Bruce HOOKED us UP again.  We had box seats for the first half, then after the intermission we moved down to the center section seats.
Not much for pictures, but the music was awesome.  So fun.  The singer was very interactive, lots of fun jokes, historical info on the band, etc.
After the concert we slipped over to Pies and Pints for some pizza.  Yum..!!!  We got half Chicken Gouda and half Pineapple Pie.
The next morning Isaac played some soccer.  It was his first game since first grade in St George.  For some reason the coach started him at goalie.  He had never even practiced at goalie.  But he did his job.  Had 3 or 4 saves in the first half to shut out the other team.  Here is a picture of Isaac in the box.
In the second half he started as a defensive wing, took about a 10 min break and went back in as an offensive wing.  If fact with about two minutes left in the game she came streaking up the middle took a pass from the teams star player, and crushed it into the net.  Way To Go ISAAC....!!!

Poor Lexy.  I ended up being her soccer coach this year so, I haven't got any pictures.  I will try, maybe I can talk Isaac (my assistant coach) into taking some photos.
